Arcadian Risk Capital (“Arcadian”), the Bermuda-headquartered managing general agent (MGA), today announced the appointment of Michael Saitta as Global Head of Tax and Representations & Warranties (“TRW”) Insurance, based in New York. Michael will lead the strategic expansion, underwriting operations and portfolio management of Arcadian’s global TRW business.
Michael joins Arcadian with extensive experience spanning Big Four tax advisory and leading global insurance carriers, alongside a proven track record of building and scaling transactional risk underwriting platforms. His appointment represents a further investment in Arcadian’s specialist underwriting capabilities and its commitment to delivering tailored insurance solutions for complex M&A transactions.
Prior to joining Arcadian, Michael served as Head of Tax Insurance at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI). Previously, he led the Americas Tax Insurance program within Liberty Mutual’s Global Transaction Solutions (GTS) unit, underwriting both tax insurance and representations and warranties risks.
Michael began his career in the M&A Tax practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), advising clients on M&A due diligence, deal and transaction structuring, internal reorganizations and post-transaction tax integration. This combination of advisory and underwriting experience gives him a valuable perspective on the complex tax and transactional risks faced by dealmakers.

Michael holds a Juris Doctor, with a concentration in Business Law, from Brooklyn Law School, and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
