System achieves accuracy, reliability and performance in high-traffic, real-world correctional facility using existing Bosch Security Escort field hardware.
DENVER, CO, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Actall Corporation, a provider of real-time location systems (RTLS) for corrections, behavioral health, and other secure environments, today announced the successful installation and live testing and evaluation of ACTALL HubSens5™ at an Australian correctional facility.
The deployment marks a significant milestone for Actall’s location engine platform, which combines real-time location tracking of tagged assets and people, mapping, commissioning and management tools, and open APIs to connect to existing systems.
A key feature of the rollout was the native Bosch driver, which allowed the system to ingest device data directly from existing Bosch Security Escort 304 MHz field hardware, including RF transponders, receivers, and personal alarm transmitters (PATs), without requiring any hardware replacement. The mapping and administrative tools native to HubSens5™ are designed to provide Security Escort functionalities in a more modern, browser-based interface. The commissioning features eliminate the need for direct adjustment to receivers for tuning and give users the ability to adjust location results in a live environment.
“This deployment shows how Actall can extend the life of infrastructure that agencies have already invested in,” said Bob Hampe, President and CEO of Actall Corporation. “By working with the Bosch Security Escort hardware already in place, we were able to bring modern location engine capabilities and performance into the facility environment without asking the customer to start from scratch.”
During testing, ACTALL HubSens5™ achieved 21 days of continuous uptime and 100 percent successful traffic testing. The first day of final testing was described by the team as going exceedingly well, setting the stage for final sign-off on the system.
“This live correctional environment gave us a rigorous, real-world proving ground,” added Hampe. “Seeing the system perform consistently and accurately across three weeks of continuous operation, with significant traffic testing throughout, gives us confidence in what Actall HubSens5™ can deliver for all agencies facing the Bosch EOL deadline. We will introduce support for Bosch 433 MHz devices and one for one hardware replacement in our next development cycle.”
Actall Corporation continues to work with corrections and public safety agencies to modernize location tracking and crisis-response infrastructure while minimizing disruption to existing systems.
